Copenhagen 31/10 2019. 33 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Drawing of some weird Lizard playing Electric guitar on the can.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of frothy foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial Lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, bittersweet and a bit stale. Caramel, grains. Sweet orange and Guava. Sugar. Quite light citric notes of lime and lemon.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly more moderate, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Dry finish.
A bit on the sweet side for an IPA but it is a damn fine Lizard.

I'm not sure where I got this beer from....I think the single shelf from my local Giant Eagle. It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had some dank tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with dried fruit stary and a grainy finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

Flavorful. And memorable. A dark hazy amber with a nice cascading head of slight foam when poured. The aroma of finely tuned hops and grains. It smelled delicious. The taste was flavorful with a citrus, lingering quality. The feel was smooth but tingling with flavor. It was certainly better than I had expected and I would certainly like to have a few more.
