Double Milkshake IPA
This powerhouse of a double milkshake IPA is straight up raspberry. Delivering intense raspberry aromas and gigantic jammy flavor upfront. Tail-gated by citrus notes that balance out the sweetness. Milk sugar adds body and rounds out the chewy delivery.

I'm a big Brewdog Ohio fan, and a big fan of fruity brews, so what could go wrong here? Throw in that this is pretty popularly priced, and we have an automatic winner.
It pours a ruby orange with very little head. The aroma clean ipa, not funky, with raspberry wafting across the table. The taste is dark, serious and fruity. Not a chick drink or a hidden bomber, it lets you know that it is serious. Although the high alcohol content is not immediately evident, the brew feels strong all around. I like it.
Highly recommended. What a value too.

Continuing to blur the lines that separates IPA from children's cereal, BrewDog takes the hazy New England-styled IPA to a whole new place. Yep, they're still shaking things up.
Rich and hazy mauve, the creamy pour Pulp Patriot Raspberry has their "milkshake" IPA floating a same dense blanket of foam as the original Pulp Patriot. A host of berry-laced fruit sorbet aromas flood the nose with a bevy of berryl, citrus, orchard and stone fruit along with a creamier, sweeter perfume. To taste, the early palate is rife with cereal, honey, poundcake and agave as a sweeter tone is taken early on the tongue.
As the ale floods the middle palate, the fruit flavors unfold with a culmination of red berry, plum, red grape, mango, pawpaw and grapefruit swirl with a nearly tangy succulence of sherbet. Vanilla, sweet cream and with the consistency of cream candy, any bitterness is softened to an herbal balance of green tea, juniper spice and a botanical character of cedar and verbena to close out the taste on the sweeter, raspberry side.
Full bodied and creamy throughout, the imperial status IPA thwarts any suggestion of being bitter. But that doesn't mean that the beer isn't hoppy; its bold fruity hop impressions linger deep into the finish with the taste of mulled currant, raspberry seeds, aspartame, and a slightly bitter berry creamsicle.

Excellent. Reminds me very much of a less intense DFH Fort. Lots of raspberry on the nose. They call it a milkshake IPA but the look isn’t that milky / cloudy to me. Copper color is translucent, no floaters, slight murkiness. One finger white bubbly head that burns away to nothing. No lacing. The look is irrelevant because it’s a damn fine drink. The raspberry is very prevalent up front, with a slightly funky malt on the back. Perfect balance where it never gets overly tart or bitter or malty or funky. I think I paid like $2.60 per can, which is a good bargain IMHO. The alcohol has no bite and brings a slow buzz, like Ninja sneaky buzz you don’t even know you’re getting one. Good carbonation keeps it lively in the mouth. I’m on my second / last one already. I’ll have to check if this is a regular brew or a rotating/ seasonal offering because of the raspberries. Buy it if you like raspberries. Reading other reviews, I get no sense of citrus at all. This is pure berry jamminess...maybe a difference between USA and English versions. IDK, but it’s solid.

Pours a cloudy copper. Big raspberry aroma. This has a heavy malt body with a good mixture of hops and raspberries. Very well balanced. Super smooth and thick. Warm going down. At 9.5 I wouldn't drink more than a sixer.

Canned on 7/15/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy reddish orangish golden; creamy white head that falls slowly leaving great thick retention and nice lacing. The aromas have some citrus leading the way. Subtle raspberry notes. Malts are there. The flavors have more citrus leading the way. The raspberries are definitely more pronounced in the flavor department, especially in the finish, although they don't dominate or diminish everything else that's going on. Some orange and tangerine coming through. It's on the sweeter side, but it's not cloyingly sweet. Moderate to low bitterness. Solid hop flavors. Solid malt backbone. Finishes juicy. Alcohol is well hidden. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, slick, smooth and dangerously drinkable.
This is a pretty solid brew. The raspberries are balanced but ultimately makes this one what it is. It's simply enjoyable and fun to drink
I like it probably even more than my "numerical score" might indicate.

12 ounce can, canned on 03/19/19, BrewDog USA brewed version. A buddy of mine gave me this a few days ago so I didn't get a chance to drink this fresher. Served in a DFH Spiegelau IPA glass, the beer pours a cloudy amber/orange/reddish color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like bready malt, raspberries, raspberry jam, citrusy hops (tropical fruit, orange peel) and some pine hops. Have to say the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but with some tart berry flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and a bit coating with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was good, hope to try a fresher batch of this in the future.

330ml Can from Brewdog.com (£3.15):
An almost murky amber colour with some hints of raspberry purple coming through & topped with a thin, bubbly white head that's more surface lacing than anything else really. It's not a particularly strong smelling beer given the abv. but I did get some light pine & citrus hops that came through with a subtle raspberry backing & a few background fruits too, mainly tropical notes with a hint of both mango & apricot featuring; pleasant but it could definitely have been a little stronger. Taste-wise the beer is sweeter than expected with less bitterness coming through but there was a tonne of fruits in there as well, mainly raspberries but some background tropical fruits showed as well & it was quite a similar tasting beer to what the nose had suggested. The beer is quite a smooth bodied one with more sweetness than bitterness as mentioned but it was fairly well balanced at least despite not being the most conventional double IPA out there.
