Copenhagen 15/9 2019, 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. BrewDogs usual design in red and pink. Style is described as a Hibiscus & Yuzu Pale Ale.
Pours unclear amber with a small white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense, floral and fruity. Sweet fruits like Peach, sweet berries like Cherry and Strawberry. Citrus fruit - and probably Yuzu. Perfumed odor lurking in the background.
Fairly strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong bitterness with a sourish twist. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undercurrent. Lingers shortly. Semi-dry finish.
Have had this for some time carefully avoiding it in the fridge as I am not too crazy about Fruit beer. But this one is nice, dry and not overdoing the fruity thing.
