A boom to shake the room. We crank it up to 10 with this voluminous imperial stout. Black as vinyl and loud with flavor. Vanilla and dark chocolate amplify and meld into the perfect duet. Smoother than a DJ playlist - this is sweet music. Boombox Brownie - Cue it up.

16 ounce can, canned on 11/19/19, brewed by BrewDog USA. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stayed around for a while. There's also a lot of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like fudge, dark chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt and some breadiness. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also a hint of licorice noticeable too. But this does remind me of a dark chocolate brownie! Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I think it's a good imperial stout, although I have to say I did like this more on tap when I had it at BrewDog Franklinton about a week ago. Definitely worth picking up!
