Collaboration with Northern Monk
Northern England and Northern Scotland unite for this New England IPA. A Translantic juice bomb of flavour. Pours as bright and hazy as a Vermont morning with massive fruit aromas. Sweet and juicy to taste with tropical fruit, big pineapple, stone fruit and a dash of coconut. Brewed with oats and wheat and left unfiltered for a smoother session. Vermont Sessions - The Opaque State.

Copenhagen 4/10 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Orange and blue can in BrewDog’s coop design.
Pours hazy, opaque yellow with a big white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a medium strong sweet odor. Sweet melon, peach. Subtle citric notes. Lime, lemon.
Light carbonation. Soft smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers shortly. Semi-dry finish.
A bit on the sweetish side but well made.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Verksgt. ABV is 5.2%. Cloudy yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Nice aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, hints of spruce. The flavour is fruity and moderately sweet, notes of citrus and tropical fruits again, and a moderate piney finish.

440ml Can from Morrisons (£3):
Golden yellow & hazy amber with a 2cm, foamy white head that settles as a thick surface lace with build-up on the sides. Fruity fresh on the nose with light mango & pineapple then faint bitter hops to finish. The taste is a little stronger & more bitter with pine hops, stone fruits & some tropical ones too. The body is light medium, slightly gassy but well carbonated with bitter hops at the end.
