Beer Gods and Rock Gods unite in a world's first collaboration. A liquid celebration of clarity in the face of adversity. And this near beer lives up to the hype. We've muted the alcohol but amped up the flavor. So all the thrash, all the passion, and all the attitude remain. Tropical notes are mixed up with a grassy, pine riff. All carried on a solid malt baseline. Pure metal without the morning-after hangover.

From the can, it pours a clear amber color with a nice off-white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. Pleasant scent of grapefruit and light malt. Taste is light with notes of citrus, light malt and some stewed grain.

12oz can poured into a pint glass
A- pours a deep copper-amber color with a one-finger foamy white head that has great retention and leaves some lacing behind
S- smells of garlic, onion and citrusy hops, underlying cracker malt. A hint of floral notes as it warms
T- garlicy hops up front give way to some citrusy hop notes. Mid-palate gives some light toasted malt, the finish gives more garlic/onion hop flavors that stick around on the linger
M- light body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a crisp dry finish

Can. White head. Slightly cloudy autumn burnt gold.
Fairly hoppy. Nice bitterness. A bit sticky, weedy. Bready malts. Toasted crackers. Light caramel. Bitter, floral finish. Solid NA.

(Didn't pour into a glass; look score is n/a). This is a pass. I regularly enjoy the Brewdog mixed AF packs; this brew is (I believe) a one-off. It ranks in the lower echelons of craft near beer. It tastes like unbrewed, dry hops. Pretty unpalatable. The last round included a blueberry "sour" that was selterish and a nice break. Before that was a decent hazy IIRC.

L - 1-finger yellowish-white head recedes fully in about a minute, leaving thick lacing. Body is a translucent orange.
S - strong herb with some pine and orange. A little onion/garlic. Smells like a west coast ipa.
T - grassy hops, dank, pine, a little onion/garlic, citrus, biscuit. Moderate bitterness. Low sweetness.
F - a tad south of medium body with just a bit too much carb.
O - easily the best Brewdog na ipa. Perhaps the best na ipa period. This tastes like a legit ipa. It’s watery, but you can taste the hops, and its noticeably bitter. This was probably even better in October, as I bet the onion/garlic flavor would be absent. I don’t much care for the other Brewdog ipas, but this is on another level. Must try.

Pours clear, gold in color with one quarter inch head. Taste is piney and eathy hops with toasted malt. Bitter, light body, high carbonation. An average to just above average Bitter sipper. Not bad but not overly interesting either. Probably my least favorite of Brew Dog's non alcoholic line.

Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) can into a Captain Lawrence muffin top pint; canned 02/28/2020.
A: Pours a crystal clear, light copper color with a one to two finger, eggshell white head, retention of rim and islands of foam, but a little lighter on the lacing (rather a late development).
S: Light aromas of orange, peach, and mango at first, some caramel, but also a hard to identify vegetal note (rutabaga?).
T: Very dry, perhaps some indistinct fruit notes, but mostly rather bitter, almost a radish/turnip/wasabi bitterness with a lingering bitter aftertaste.
M: Light bodied with moderate, but persistent effervescence.
O: Low alcohol beers are always an interesting trade off on the flavor front. Sometimes its all about the fruit, here more all about the bitterness. Admirable try, certainly has amazing color, nice aroma, and solid flavor, but not quite my personal cup of tea.
