This massively thiccc Imperial Milk Stout is inspired by Almond Joy chocolate bars and is conditioned on Dutch cocoa powder, marshmallow, toasted almonds and 12.5 pounds of toasted coconut per barrel! HHJJ is the most decadent stout we have created to date.

From the 12.7 oz wax capped bottle from Bluejacket74----ummmm...WOW!
Oh yeah....poured in a snifter! This monster of flavor pours a blackish brown
with a thin head of foam that settles to a thin off white ring and a dusty
layer. Nose of almonds, dark sweet chocolate, toasted coconut, and sweet
touches of cream and caramel with some nutty touches. Flavors nail the goal
of tasting like an Almond Joy for certain! Rich, sweet, dark chocolate, toasted
coconut, sweet cream, caramel, and a nutty almond finish.
For such a big brew this one has a decent finish----smooth, rich,
coating, warming. faint to non-existent carbonation, full body,
and a sweet finish that is verging on cloying, but split with a friend....
ahem.....or little woman...this one is a winner!
Overall----excellent!
Cheers

12.7 ounce orange wax capped bottle, BrewDog USA/Nanodog beer. No dating I could find on it but pretty sure this batch was released earlier this week. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with maybe a quarter inch tan head that didn't stick around for very long. Not much lacing. I like the aroma a lot, the brew smells like milk chocolate, coconut, nuts/almonds and some roasted malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some marshmallow and burnt/charred flavors noticeable too. Starts off sweet and then has a weird roasty bitterness in the finish that detracts from the other flavors for a little while then it settles down. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's smooth and slick with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. Knocking off some points here for the weird bitterness, but I do have another bottle of this so if it's a lot better then I'll rate it again.
