Scottish Sour Ale fermented with Pears, aged in barrels.
We have ignition. Hazy gold to pour with aromas of ripe cut pear. Freshly bailed hay, fleshy pear, and dusty funk to taste. A deft dry delivery with mouthwatering acidity. Clean, balanced, light and refreshing to finish.
Cosmic Crush Pear - Stratospheric sour.

Copenhagen 19/6 2020. 50 cl heavy glass bottle. Label shaped after the motive on the label. Strange landscape with a pear tree, a mountain range with a green, spooky moon hovering above it all.
Pours unclear, pale yellow with a medium-sized, bubbly white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving a thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a light sweet, fruity odor soon overpowered by a strong, austere sour odor. Sweet pear. Strong sour citrus, vinegar and sour, unripe berries.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong sourness. Aftertaste is sour. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and acidic.
Dry as white wine and with enough fruity sweetness to make a pleasant drink.

500 ml bottle, batch 190013, best by date of 02/04/24 printed on the label. Served in an OverWorks stemless chalice, the beer pours a mostly clear light gold color with about a half inch white head. Not much lacing. Aroma is nice but a bit subtle, the brew smells like pears, earthiness and citrus peel. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma but with more kick, and there's the addition of some grassy and lemon flavors. Nice and sour! Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought it was a good enough sour ale, certainly worth trying if you get the chance to.
