look: two finger tan coloured head with decent retention, beer is jet black in the glass, no light bleeding through.
smell: sweet as heck, marshmallow, milk chocolate, sugary sweet, nice roasted malt aromas, lot of dark fruit flavour, cherry and fig, smells like dessert.
taste: lot of candy, not a lot of beer, there is a really nice roasted malt smokey espresso flavour that is trying to get out but is crushed by sweet s’mores marshmallow flavours, nice bit of milk chocolate, some fig and cherry, very light bitterness on the finish, sweet s’mores flavour lingers on the finish, too sweet for my taste but drinkable.
feel: medium bodied, lightly carbonated, on the thin side of things but not too thin, sticky.
overall: i mean, if you enjoy eating fondant then this is the beer for you, too sweet for me but it’s a decent beer, a dessert beer through and through.

440ml Can from Tesco supermarket (£3):
Jet black with a 1cm, foamy beige head that holds well before eventually fading to a small patch of lacing on the surface. It's a strong nose with chocolate sweetness, lots of marshmallow & sugars with touches of vanilla & marzipan. Again it's sweet tasting with lots of marshmallow, chocolate & a few dark malts with touches of warming alcohol sneaking in too. It's got a lot of sugars showing with vanilla & faint lactose whilst the body was quite smooth & creamy with a subtle booziness towards the end; it's full bodied & well-carbonated too but it was just the little bit too sweet.
