It's time to turn up the volume. We've taken Elvis Juice and amped-up the ABV. Expect the same juicy, grapefruit notes, and hop forward style to take this refreshed IPA to the next level.

From the can, it pours a slightly hazy solid amber color with a very nice off-white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets GRAPEFUIT! Lots of Grapefruit. The mouth follows with a slight bite of grapefruit followed by a pleasant citrus flavor.

Look: It pours amber and fairly clear with an off white head. Head retention is very good.

Aroma: There is a really strong grapefruit aroma with some candy like qualities to it. There are other low citrus elements.

Taste: There are strong grapefruit flavors with stone fruit that is mostly apricot. There are some very light caramel elements with a sweet candy element mostly like lemon drops.

Feel: It has a medium full body with a bit of slickness. The bitterness is not over the top, instead it is only slightly sharp.

Overall, since I love grapefruit, this is a no brainer for me. I do also like the lemon drop and stone fruit that blends well with it.

12 ounce can, canned on 03/16/22, BrewDog USA brewed version, 9% ABV. Thanks to my buddy Denis for this! Served in a Spiegelau IPA glass, the beer pours a somewhat clear amber color with about an inch or so off-white head that stuck around a while. Good amount of lacing. The brew smells mostly like grapefruit, along with some bready malt, caramel and floral hops. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some stone fruit and piney hop flavors noticeable too. It's sweeter smelling and tasting than I was expecting. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth with a good amount of carbonation. I think it's a good overall brew, but I like the regular Elvis Juice more. Maybe this one is a little too sweet tasting for me for being an IPA but it's still good. With that being said this one is certainly worth trying if you come across some!

Surprised to see such few reviews for this beer I guess the market is so saturated people just stick to what they like. Hard to Judge after the exceptional double dale but it's good in it's own right. Very malt forward not too sweet has a mild hop bit for a 2 month old can. EXCELLENT LACING! Not a bad DIPA but not as smooth and crisp as alternatives

Elvis Juice is rightfully is a very popular brew for many reasons. Double Elvis has all the same going for it, only amplified.

It pours a darker, more sinister dirty golden. The aroma is the same grapefruity freshness. The taste is deeper and maltier but the finish is just as clean. With 9% ABV, this sucker is dangerous.

Highly recommended. An excellent brew and a great value. I hope more batches are coming (I think this is the second batch).

Squeezing even more juice from even more Elvis'es, BrewDog doubled down on their Elvis Juice grapefruit IPA with a stronger, juicier and more enticing version than the original.

Deep amber in color, the moderately hazy Double Elvis soon builds a creamy, ivory-stained froth that delivers a host of citrus, herbal, sprucy and floral hop scents to the nose. Taking a sweeter tone to start, a firmly malt upstart is build on flavors of caramel, toffee and honey.

As the flavors unfold, the malt sweetness recedes into a slight toasty, nutty and crust-like character while the hops build into a full citrus array. Grapefruit leads the way because of its additional and literal citrus flavor, but complementary hop flavors of orange peel, pineapple and mango come to mind before the beer develops a bitter grip on the late palate. Sprucy, resinous and pleasantly grassy, the finish takes a bitter balance past the persistent malts.

Medium bodied but fuller than its predecessor, the Imperial IPA finishes decidedly on the bitter side of bittersweet and with a long afterglow of piney bitterness, curaƧao spice and citrus peel.
