a really solid passion fruit kettle sour, bright and easy, gose-like to me with a drying mineral forward tangy finish, not sure if there is salt in this or not, it may have been being sold as a gose where we had it, summery and easy and quenching either way, natural fruit character to me too, and just forever drinkable. draft pour has a soft haze to it, a real light orange hue, and lots of bubbles as it drinks but without holding on to much head after it settles back. the aroma is nice, tangy both from the lactic front end souring but also from the fruit itself, which is well dosed but not running away with this, its mouthwatering without being too acidic, very pleasant, light wheat in the mix, but its not malty to me. the flavor follows the nose, juicy and fairly authentic passion fruit character, some orange popsicle to me too, mandarin oranges from the can, ripe melon, and an almost wet concrete sort of minerality, light overall and well balanced even without a ton of grain influence. orange skittles, tangerine, pretty mild souring really, tart at the most, which makes it pretty drinkable as these go. i like the passion fruit by itself too, not in a cocktail of other tropical fruits, its nice to have it solo in a beer like this. simple stuff but very well executed, ideal for high summer heat!

It says "passionfruit sour" on the front of the label, but then "malt beverage with natural flavor" on the side so who knows what the fuck is going on with this. Just have to drink it and find out, yeah?
Well it looks "beery". Pissy yella with a bit of haze. 1 finger of foamy head. Smell is _very_ "malt beverage with natural flavor". Smells like a sweet hard seltzer. It's fruity, but I'm not at all familiar with passionfruit, so I can't say whether it's natural-smelling or not. But I'm leaning toward not. This has that artificial stank. Tastes pretty artificial too. If I were half in the bag at a picnic and drinking out of a solo cup, I'd assume this was hard seltzer. There's not really much going on beyond artificial fruit flavor. It's not even really sour. Like, at all. Finish is just a big "blah" bath for the tongue. Fucking thing just falls right off a cliff. Yeesh. Quit selling your beer as something it's not, people. If you want to get into the seltzer game, just do it. But don't sell me a fruited sour that isn't a fucking fruited sour.

Good passionfruit in this sour nice grainy body and smooth finish. Fair price and I believe if I see it again I would pick it up! Best gay beer ever!
