I got a can of this beer from a Christmas 2021 holiday mixed 24pck that my wife got me. It poured an opaque dark with ecru head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had subtle. chocolate and dark fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with rich milk chocolate base and subtle dark fruit highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

From the can in the 2021 BrewDog Bier Advent Calendar, it pours a brown/black color with reddish highlights and a nice light brown head that slowly reduces. The nose gets chocolate and cherry, the mouth gets the same in a pleasant form with a pleasant feel and aftertaste.

First, Ganache Pit is the first brew like this that I have tried from our Columbus area Brewdog. I didn't know they could make something like this (this good). They have great signature brews, but many of them are closer to the mainstream. Second, why am I the first to pop this into BA? It's the December 1st window on the Brewdog 2021 Advent Calendar. Open and drink. It's December 1st. I would have thought someone would have jumped the gun!

It pours black and beautiful with a resilient rim of head. The aroma gives nice hints of the chocolate fruity taste that follows. It's a strongly flavored, good sized stout - not a knockout stout, but it feels like one. Fortunately, I only have one, otherwise I would drink another.

Highly recommended. A great way to start the advent calendar - my expectations have been set high!
