Scottish sour ale fermented with blackcurrant and coffee aged in red wine barrels.
Very hazy rose appearance. Scarce and evanescent foam.
Intense fruity smell , berry fruit (blackcurrant), and coffee powder. Some vinous notes. Dry fruits, green pistacchio.
Very sour taste, again vinous and tannic, wood. Coffee again.
Then, again, berry fruit. Very variegated. Stone fruits, black cherries, red fruits.
Overal, after the various tasting waves of tannic, fruitinessm coffee, wine: interesting.
