Copenhagen 5/5 2022. 33 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. BrewDogs usual design with a grey metal can with golden shield formed area in different shades of orange and yellow.
Pours clear yellow with a big white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with herbal and floral notes Sweet, pale malts, caramel, bread. Light whiff of citrus and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and malty. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet and bread.
Does what a Helles is supposed in it's own bready and and malty way.

330ml can from Brewdog Online Shop:
Pale golden & clear with a lot of fine bubbles & a 2cm, foamy white head holding well on top. It's a sharp nose with lemon, light biscuit, lager malts & a light bitterness. The taste is quite malty with some biscuit & faint citrus but not a lot else; it's definitely not a premium helles for me. There's some flowery flavours further on & some stronger hops on top of a medium body. It's an overly malty beer with a sharp feel & fine carbonation but I'd stick with a better German brewed helles over this one.
