12 oz. can, canned 07/25/2022. A new one to me from BrewDog, who apparently is more of a USA brewery nowadays since I literally never see imported BrewDog beers anymore, but why would they need to? Anyway, the can calls this a Bavarian Helles lager.
Poured to Unibroue stemware.
Pours a orange-gold body, with some sediment & a slight haze. Small finger of white froth that leaves some ok scattered lacing. Appears aptly carbonated. Looks befitting of it's style.
Aromas of cream, grain, corn husk, lager yeast, a bit of floral hop presence. Vague notes of lemongrass and indistinct berries, but corn, grain, & husk seem to be the main players here.
Taste follows - crisp, creamy, grainy, corny, husky - not a whole lot else going on here at all, I figured this might be a bit brown & bready, but I was wrong. Lacking in any spice or distinctive yeast character. Very middle-of-the-road: not bad by any means, but I was expecting a lot more.
Feel is smooth, crisp, creamy. Light and easy drinking for the modest 6.0% abv. It feels more like 4.5-5%.
An overall average offering from BrewDog, nothing special, sad to say, but easy drinking and inoffensive.

Poured from a freshness dated can: clear and deep golden hue with an attractive, sustained and fluffy white head.
Very faint spicy notes of European hops.
I have been really enjoying these paler Festbiers. After enjoying a couple of German brewed ones, I am having one brewed in Ohio. This one falls short compared to the German festbiers; that is not to say it is not worthy, only that it lacks the depth of the previous German beers. The flavor is solidly sweet but not cloying, while lacking the nuances of the better brewed ones. The mouthfeel is somewhat chewy with a short-lived aftertaste. Recommended, but far from the best.

Got about an inch of white foamy head in a pint glass that diminished after a couple of minutes. Modest lacing that eased to just about no lacing. Aroma was pleasant, I noted honey over other smells. Quite well balanced flavor and easy drinking. Recommend.

I'm trying this off the tapper at the Canal Winchester (Columbus), Ohio brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had hints of grain. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with good grain and bittering hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
