Copenhagen 16/11 2022. 33 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Grey steel can with a green shield.
Pours unclear golden amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with boozy notes and a bit of sweet fruit. Caramel and sweet pale malts. Agave. Whiff of golden tequila.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a sharp edge of alcohol. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Quite sweet and boozy with a sharp edge of Tequila.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10%. Hazy brownish-orange colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, hints of flowers, stewed fruits and tequila. Citric and boozy mouthfeel. Flavour of oak / tequila barrel, sweet malts, stewed fruits and peppery bittering hops. Not the best way to treat a biére de garde.
