Copenhagen 13/7 2024. 33 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Green can like a Hazy Jane from BrewDog with an yellow bottom where the Pineapple makes it entrance. The version I am drinking is holding an ABV of 5,0 %.
Pours opaque unclear golden yellow with a big white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, powdery layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of fruit mingling with some tart, citric notes. Pineapple and passion fruit. Citrus and lemon. A bit sharp Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Decent flavored India Pale Ale.

Again, quite a letdown. And it does not even smell that good this time. Not as watery as usual though but I am not getting any hints of pineapple from the beer… yes, it does look hazy as a New England IPA but it lacks that intensity, the thickness. It is a borderline 4 but to be honest I already forgot how it was while I am writing this review…

From the can in the 2023 BrewDog Advent Calendar, it pours a slightly hazy light amber color with a modest white head that soon diminishes to a thin layer and leaves lacing. The nose gets pineapple. The mouth follows with a definite pineapple taste in front of the malt.

pours a cloudy yellow golden color, foamy white head that fades. aroma is sweet tropical pineapple. Similar taste, on the sweeter side, just a little balancing bitterness. medium bodied, lacking a soft mouthfeel of a typical NEIPA style.

Hazy lemon yellow with a decent bubbly white head that slowly recedes. Pineapple and pithy earthy grass against a hint of bready maltiness. Lingering fruit and alcohol finish.

This beer is a very opaque, hazy, dark straw color, from a twelve ounce aluminum can. The aroma is juicy and tropical. The taste is balanced, and just slightly sweet. Medium-full in body and interesting. I usually don't like fruit beers, but this one is okay.

12oz can as part of the winter mixed 12 pack. Brewed with White Wheat, Caramalt, Malted Oats, Two-Row, natural flavors, lactose. Hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe. 7.2% ABV.
Pours to a cloudy burnt orange, forming a large off white head with very good retention and a solid sheet of lacing. Mod.carb, ~2.5. To be honest, I can't pick up any pineapple character in the nose outside that traditionally associated with hops. There is a subtle toasted malt character and peach, mango, guava. Mouthfeel is prickly, medium bodied, slightly chewy and the pineapple flavor comes out in the aftertaste, like someone left a pineapple dum dum in your beer for 2 minutes. It's not overwhelming, more subtle. No off flavors.
This is a so so NEIPA. I don't think the pineapple really works. It'll be interesting to try the grapefruit hazy jane compared to this. Not a bad beer, but I'd rather have it without the pineapple

12 FL OZ. can
Served in an IPA glass
This beer pours a yellowish shade of orange and is hazy. It is topped with a couple inches of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
It has a sweet pineapple aroma. I get a little underlying citrus.
Light citrus flavor with a big, sweet pineapple flavor.
Medium bodied with an effervescent mouthfeel
Decent IPA. On the sweeter side of the flavor spectrum

I got a can of this beer from the Brewdog Beer advent calendar pack. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had beautiful pineapple notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet pineapple presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Jane has taken a few wild trips in her young and illustrious life. And now she's going tropical and taking our tastebuds with her. Laced with pineapple additions, BrewDog's haze sees new territory.
Pale gold and standardly hazy, Hazy Jane Pineapple drifts about the senses with tangy and succulent pineapple with hints of citrus and herb while a foamy white froth bings to build. Creamy, sweet and slightly starchy on the early palate, notions of dough, shortcake and honeysuckle tease the tastebuds with both malt and cereal.
The hops open up across the middle palate as the sweetness starts to fade and the fruit impressions begin their growth. A backdrop of grapefruit, orange and lime fade into a tropical influence of passionfruit and, yes... pineapple. Tangy, racy and playful, the fruits offer a sweet succulence effect late in taste. Trending smoothly bitter with fresh spruce, tea and peppery herbs, hints of hemp drift across the finish as well.
Medium bodied and trending dry, the beer's malty-dry demeanor resides on the lighter and spicier side of balance even though the cream of cereal persists. Hazy Jane Pineapple is a pleasant ale that's caught between fruit beer and IPA with a medium length aftertaste of sprucy bitterness and herbal hemp.
