From the can in the 2023 beer advent calendar, it pours a hazy amber color with a large white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets tropical fruits, followed by the same in the mouth. Easy drinking overall.

Beer advent box day 4 beer.
Lightly hazy light gold dark straw with a decent sized bubbly white head that dissipates. Bready light caramel sweet malt with earthy citrus to counter. Beer 4 and so far they all have a late 90's pale ale feel.

L: suitably hazy I suppose seems unfair to even rate the appearance of a hazy IPA I mean they’re all unattractive looking right?
S: citrus fruit pineapple as expected
T: lots of pineapple and acidity. Pretty typical but a definitely taste the 9%
F: not as chewy as you’d think. Almost crisp which is surprising given the warm glow of the ABV
O. Like most beers from this brewer. It’s fine. Nothing special but quite drinkable

12 oz can, dated 9/19/23

pours a slightly hazy light yellow golden color, thick white head. decent head retention. aroma of tropical fruits - papaya, pineapple, mango. similar start to the taste - a bit juicy, but more of a dank bitter finish. medium bodied, doesn't have that NEIPA soft mouthfeel

From a twelve ounce can that was in a mix-pack...This one is really hazy, and has a very slim white head. I never find the overly hazy beers that attractive, and this one is no exception. The smell is tropically fruity, and the taste is sweet, but balanced with enough bitterness to make it interesting. Fruity...hoppy....hazy, but with a higher ABV. That about sums up this one.

I just poured a standard Hazy Jane and immediately dumped it because it smelled so bad and this smells pretty much the same. I'll take a few sips for review purposes; hell, maybe it'll surprise me. Not terribly hazy; maybe... maybe mildly opaque? Not really, though. It probably helps it in the looks department, to be honest. Decent head-retention and lacing. Smells bad, like something I really don't want to drink at all. Shitty fruit-scented nail polish. This is going to do awful things to my stomach - I can sense it. Beer is not supposed to smell this way. Doesn't taste much better, but it's not brutal or anything. Kind of a messy, muddled fruit-salad with a weird alcoholic bite that gives me pause. If I had made this myself, I'd be embarrassed to share it with anyone. But here it is, commercially-available, with dipshits like me wasting perfectly good money on it.

12oz can as part of the mixed holiday 12 pack. Brewed with Munich, White Wheat, Caramalt, Malted Oats, Two-Row. Hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe.
9% ABV

Pours to a hazy medium orange forming a modest off yellow head with good retention and lacing, moderate carbonation, 2.5 carbs. Fruity nose up front, peaches, mango, pineapple. Mouthfeel is chewy and slightly syrupy, dense bodied. Taste of those fruits right up front, a smooth slightly syrupy malt body which is well balanced with a medium bitterness which lingers quite a bit followed by a peppery bite of alcohol in the finish. No off flavors or aromas.

A solid, uneventful Imperial NEIPA. Worth a try if you're into the style.

Jane just got a lot bigger. BrewDog gives their hazy lady a plump makeover by boosting the alcohol to nine percent and accepts the flavors, body and strength that comes along with it.

Imperial Hazy Jane pours with a plump and hazy gold before building a frothy white crown. A host of tropical, citrus and stone fruit fills the nose along with an herbal complement of floral arrangements, dankness and vegetal spice. A creamy sweet maltiness graces the tongue with hints of vanilla, coconut and shortcake in a starchy-sweet upstart.

With the ale rolling over the middle palate, the bounty of fruits grow with a delicious sense of peach, orange, mango, apricot and a lighter dates character. As the sweetness wraps around both the fruit impressions from hops and also the yeast esters, the smooth bitterness of resins rise with bolder suggestions of tea, spruce, hemp and verbena to close the session out.

Plump, creamy and smooth on the palate, the ale finishes malty-dry and with a mild simmering spice of botanical gin. A medium long linger of fruit peels, grassy herbs and peppery hemp extend on the after-palate.

12 FL OZ. can
Served in a BrewDog IPA glass

This beer pours amber and is hazy. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves no lacing.

It has a fresh citrus aroma.

Citrus flavor up front. I get a little melon. Light bitterness in the finish.

Medium bodied with a biting mouthfeel

Solid beer. Nothing outlandish but would be a good go to IPA.

I got a can of this beer from the brewery 2022 beer advent calendar pack. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had dank tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and dank mango and pineapple presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
