The Big Top is back in town. Revisit the twisted circus and get reacquainted with the ringmaster in chief. And this time, the Clown King is ready with an encore that will leave you speechless. Barrels have been moved up the bill from sideshow act to the main arena, where they belong.
This American Barley Wine hits like a high striker thanks to ageing in whisky casks, adding layers of flavour on top of the running order of five malts and four different hops. Sweet dark fruit, caramel and toasted marshmallow lead to a smooth finish that lasts as long as the standing ovation.
BA Clown King – roll up, roll up.

Bottle from Edinburgh Doghouse. Dark brown, diminishing beige head. Sweet roasty aroma, pit fruit, leather. Taste is roasty and sweet, prunes, raisins, tobacco. Barrel notes there but not dominant.
