Bottle@Omhpers place.
A: Dark red with a wee beige head.
S: Pear, Oak, Caramel, Alcohol. Very strange but pleasant aroma.
T: Pear, Fruit, Smoke, Oak, Vanilla and a hint of tar.
M: Quite drinkable but the palate is all over the place on this one. Low carbonation.
Weirdest smelling beer ever? (Although, in a pleasant way..sort of). Taste is not as good as the smell i'm afraid but still drinkable in small amounts. An interesting experiment.

A - Pours a dark ruby color with minimal head that quickly reduces to a nice ring of lacing (3.5)
S - Intense nose of caramel syrup, sweet molasses, alcohol and a bit of cocoa; surprising hints of durian aromas (4)
T - Upfront syrupy sweetness on the palates with truckloads of.caramel and towards the back, strong notes of malts enter the scene along with fruity notes of dates and raisins; slightly cloying (4)
M - Body was thick, syrupy and sticky with minimal carbonation; goes down with significant alcohol warming (3.5)
D - A little too sweet and cloying with much of the 12.5% ABV showing on the palate and feel, traded for the strong flavors (which weren't too bad actually). However, this is frankly something for sharing in a tasting session and definitely not something I would session (3)
