Copenhagen 23/4 2023. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F.
Simple black can with silver lettering and a light blue Night Hawk.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, puddles of foam floating about. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, candy-like odor mingling with dark alcohol. Brown sugar, vanilla, milk chocolate and sweet coffee liqueur.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oil, soft, a bit viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet bordering on being sugary. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweet liqueur.
A Hawk with some very sweet inclinations.

330 ml can, as BrewDog Night Hawk Coffee Stout, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.5%. Black colour, large brown head. Sweetish aroma of roast malts, chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon and coffee. Fairly sweet flavour with the same elements, moderate hops.
