Copenhagen 14/5 2023. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Flashy can with a burgundy center with gold letters and yellow flashes lashing out.
Pours clear amber with s big off-white head. Stable. Settles as 3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sugary odor brimming with alcohol mingling with sourish notes. Caramel, toffee, brown sugar, vanilla. Dark sweet liqueur. Citric notes.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, slightly greasy, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourness. Aftertaste is sweet and sugary with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Very sweet but with enough redeeming bitterness in the end to make it bearable.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9.5%. Reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Nice aroma of grapefruity and piney American hops, on a background of malts and toffee. The flavour is bitter and fairly sweet, notes of grapefruit and pine / resin again, also caramel and toffee. Hints of over-ripe stonefruits.
