Iron Maiden and BrewDog unite to launch Hellcat - a feisty Cold IPA. Hellcat rages with a citrus-forward flavor and an aggressive malty backbone. The result is a complex, yet balanced, refreshing golden beer. Brewed in the USA, Hellcat joins the global Trooper family of beers crafted by Maiden vocalist and beer aficionado, Bruce Dickinson.

Clear golden/amber color with a respectable and lasting white head.
The aroma is citrus and caramel malt.
The taste is tangerine, grapefruit, mango and a hint of passion fruit. The finish is dry with lingering citrus zest and a touch of pine.
The body is medium, plenty of good carbonation, slightly crisp but smooth and very drinkable, moderate bitterness but nicely balanced.
Altogether, this is a very tasty and refreshing brew, a good example of American IPA, well done.

12 ounce can poured into a Spiegelau wheat beer glass.
CANNED ON 1/12/24
L: Clear golden pour, 3 finger white head,
S: Hoppy citrus and stone fruit aromas.
T: Hop forward, orange zest and stone fruit, hints of vanilla, pale malt bread flour flavor, moderately bitter with balancing sweetness.
F: Medium body, frothy and lightly creamy feel, enough carbonation for some crisp bite.
O: Nice, decent IPA, seems to hold up well at 119 days old.
