Copenhagen 29/11 2022. 33 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Purple can with silver metallic text in BrewDogs usual design.
Pours opaque dark brown with a huge beige head. Stable. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty and dark odor mingling with earthy notes and a hint of smoke. Toffee and brown sugar. Toast. Peat and bacon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sprinkle of salt. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Not very smoky - but a nice enough Stout.
