Very dark, chocolate brown with a thin off-white to brown lacing for a head.
Strong malts and a slightly milder coffee aroma along with touches of liquorice and grain. As I was expecting from such a strong beer, there is a heavy alcohol aroma too.
A rich tasting beer with plenty of sweet malts and liquorice along with a strong coffee like taste. There is a huge kick to this one thanks to the 10.% abv and there is also a touch of grain but overall it is sweet and strong.
Smooth with a medium body and a rather warming feel to it from the alcohol. This was is very strong. The finish is a dry one with a lingering coffee taste.
This beer was a bit to strong for my liking, it tasted okay without being great but the huge alcohol taste was a bit much for me and too noticeable.

A - Black with a tan head turning to swirl of fizz on top with nice lacing.
S - Spicy, herbal, bubblegum, toffee, Xmas bread, bit of medicine, Riccola, little bit of booze but less than you expect from 10%. So much going on hard to describe. Very intersting
T - Quite different from the taste. Licorice, wheat (bubblegum), coffee bitterness, booze, chocolate at the end
MF - Quite rich, full body at the begining Medium towards the end
O - Weird beer, one of the most interesting Stouts I have ever had! So much going on that you just don't expect. All flavours and aromas were very nice just different. Worth a try for sure, as it is very well made, but not sure it is something I look for in a stout.
