330 ml bottle in cardboard box, Cardinal Pub & Bar. ABV is 11.5%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black, mahogany in the highlights. Moderate beige head. Strong and impressive aroma of rum barrel (= oak, dark rum, vanilla). Sweet and very malty flavour, again with strong notes of rum barrel, also molasses, caramel, raisins, chocolate and mild coffee. The domination of the rum barrel is no doubt intentional, but as BrewDog are normally not afraid to use hops (to say the least), I think they could have used some more of them here. But by all means, this is a lovely beer, when you want to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Brewed collaboratively with the US brewery The Lost Abbey.
Black color, ruby through light, with practically no head.
Relatively light and predominant aroma with fresh coffee beans notes that later fades and gives room to spiced rum and caramel notes.
Sweet flavor of rum and cola, oak, nutmeg, vanilla, faint cocoa, licorice, cherries, nutty and caramel malts and spices. Finishes like a Port wine with plum notes.
Medium body with low carbonation. Alcohol of 11.5% abv is well hidden.
Interesting Imperial Porter, though somewhat different from its traditional style. A bit light body, but still reveals a decent complexity once it warms up. A beer that definitely improves with degustation.

Clear dark brown colour with a small light tan head. Fair head retention.
Big rum and oak aroma. Touches of chocolate. It is what it says it is.
Nutty, chocolatey, caramelised malt. Oak which slightly dries the palate. Touches of rum. Very nice. Easy to drink.
Medium to medium-full body with moderate carbonation. Good.
A solid beer. Fruity, chocolatey, nutty, caramelised, barrelled, lovely.

A: Color is deep brown with some hues of red. A rather small pale brown head sinks quickly into almost no lacings.
S: Hard roasted sweet malts, rich dark dried fruits and molasses. Vanilla and spices. Chocolate.
T: Again a very sweet experience. Dark dried fruits together with the hard roast is what this beer is all about. Molasses/rum. Some faint chocolate and coffee. Vanilla.
M: Aftertaste is short and sweet, while carbonation is low. The body is smooth and full.
O: Nice Porter with a obvious Rum-vibe.
