Had this one while on vacation in Lucerne. Pours a white head and is highly carbonated. Very golden in color. Smell is slightly of a sweet lager malt.

This beer is smooth. A bit of a hop bite with sweet malt backbone. Tasted more like a pils than a true euro lager.

Overall great beer and enjoyed it. Sadly you can only get it in Switzerland.

Poured from the tap into the proper glassware, this beer was a nice clear gold with a decent white head and lots of bubbles. Decent head retention and lacing.

Smells of malt and slight hops all the way. Tastes much the same, though the hops are more evident. Possibly a slight hint of straw/hay.

Mouthfeel is OK, but certainly nothing to write home about.

Overall a decently drinkable beer; certainly better than a lot of euro lagers I've tried.

I would say it is slightly above average lager, but nothing very exceptional - attractive golden colour, pleasant, but weak hop smell. Excellent amount of carbonation and rather light hoppy taste - feels very refreshing.

I did not like that the aftertaste fades so fast, but overall - one of the best Eichhof's brews.

Had this in Lucern at a local restaurant. Light to medium golden color with a one finger head which stayed for a few minutes before turning into a thin film. Medium amount of lacing.

Smell was nothing special, a bit grassy with slight floral overtones.

Taste was satisfying. A bit hoppier then it smelled, very clean.

Good crisp mouthfeel with above average carbonation and slightly thin body

This was a very refreshing beer. Nothing spectacular yet it really hit the spot and was very drinkable. I'd try it again next time I'm in Lucerne or anywhere else that might carry it.

From my notes 6/8/07 - Very similar to their lager - pours a two-finger white head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Crystal clear amber color. Hoppy/skunky nose. Very good carbonation and light bodied. Flavor is hoppy with a hoppy finish. To me less desirable than the lager. S.FR.5.00 ($4.07) for a 300ml bottle at Grand Hotel Europe Lucerne, Switzerland.

Very similiar to the regular Eichhof Lager, in my opinion. Pours a nice golden color with an inch white head. Leaves good lacing on the glass. Very fresh tasting -- had it on tap in Lucern, Switzerland. With just the right amount of carbonation, this would be a good session beer. Goes down very smooth. Out of all of the Eichhofs I tried while in Switzerland (well, the only other two being the regular lager and the klosterbrau), this was my favorite.

A basic, staight ahead all-malt pilsner. Clear, light golden color with small white head. Light grassy hop aroma coming out of the glass. The flavors are of light malt and grassy hops that finishes short and dry. Better than an adjunct pils but not much else to talk about.

A Swiss made German style lager had on tap while in Lucerne. Comparable if not identical to many of the authentic German brews. Yellow/gold color, biscuits, hay, peppery hop aroma. Crisp and clean flavor. Not a knockout, but a solid brew.
