American Oak-Aged Oktoberfest
Pours a little bit of sediment in the glass. An autumn copper gold color.
Aroma: Sweet and German like lagery. Malty and bready. Some grassy hops. Typical octoberfest. It shows light oak and vanilla flavors.
Taste: Vanilla and oak. Much more here than in the nose. Bready and malty. Grassy hops.
Mouthfeel: Smooth and creamy. The oak round this beer out nicely. Ends clean. Medium bodied with a lower amount of carbonation.
Overall, I really enjoyed this one. It had a little more flavor than a typical octoberfest. Definitely not traditional, but a nice treat.
