Special cask at 44 Stone in Columbia, MO. Buffalo Sweat with Jameson soaked oak chips, Ethiopian coffee and cocoa added.
A - Poured out a jet black color with a one-finger, light brown head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass.
S - It smelled of chocolate, some oak, mild coffee notes and a touch of whiskey.
T - The Jameson flavor comes through with some sweet chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of coffee.
M - It was crisp and smooth with a creamy finish. A medium bodied ale.
O - This was very good. It was much better after it warmed up. A great limited brew by Tallgrass.
