From notes.
Pint consumed several weeks ago at Jones' Radiator in Spokane. Availability is a guess. I listed it as a summer beer because I had it this summer, but I'd not be dissapointed if this is actually brewed all year around.
Orangey-amber n color, with a bone-white head.
Very hoppy in the nose, as one would expect. Lots of piney and citrusy hop notes, along with a subordinate malty sweetness.
Initially sharply hoppy as it smacks the tastebud beachhead, but there's a bready malt undercurrent that keeps things from getting too out of control. Balanced really well. Big zap at the swallow.
Resiny, oily mouthfeel.
A pretty good example of the style from a relative newcommer. As far as I know, this is not bottled, but the Northern bottles I've had have not been inspiring, anyway, so perhaps draught is the way to have this beer.
