L: Pours a nice deep black color that you cannot see through with a medium sized and medium bodied tan colored head that laces the glass a bit on the way down.
S: Smells of sweet roasted chocolate malts, caramelized malts, deep black malt, coffee, and a hint of sweet coconut.
T: Like the nose, it tastes of sweet roasted chocolate and caramelized malts, deep black malts, coffee, and a tiny hint of coconut. I was excepting more from the coconut but it was a nice subtle addition. Very clean finish.
M: Very smooth, fresh, refreshing, perfect amount of carbonation and alcohol.
D: Very drinkable, this was a good stout. I guess it's the only one you cannot take home in a growler maybe because of it's popularity.
