Blue to magenta color from the pour. Murky. The head is a pinkish purple that lasts; some streaks on the glass.
More tart than sweet--I'm reminded of blueberries and blackberries. Similar to a SweetTart.
Drier than expected. The tartness is muted which for me works well. A friend described it as a soured pinot noir which makes sense to me. Fuller bodied with lower carbonation. The lightly tart finish lasts a moderate period of time in the aftertaste.
