A - Clear ruby with an off white head that has decent retention and lacing.
S/T - Light roast, toffee sweetness, then a smooth smokey finish come in with pine hop bitterness with a touch of astringency.
M - Medium body, medium carbonation, feels slightly on the over-carbed side, finishing with a little metallic astringency.
O - I threw this under a brown ale because of the appearance and similarities to the style more so than a porter. Interesting blend of styles, getting a nice roast and smoke flavor while maintaing toffee sweetness and a ruby, brown color. While its not fascinating, I'd get it again.
