Dark ruby brown with a small collar of tannish foam. The aromas is wine-like and consists of various berries and spicies. This smells like a mulled wine, and for a winter brew that is perfectly OK by me. The taste follows through, all spicy and sweet with different fruit essences. This is a good spicy winter warmer in the UK tradition. Mouthfeel and drinkability are both good as well. A nice winter tipple!

This strong ale really hid the alchohol well. It had a nice tan head and a mahogony color. The overwhelming flavors in this beer were "as stated in the Otters description" cookies and cream. Flavors of candied dates, toffe, sugar cookies. And a creammy finish like oreo filling. Did however have a slightly dry finish.
