Cask at Mugs Alehouse, Brooklyn, NY
A: The beer is clear yellowish amber in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that left lacing on the surface and a thin ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrusy hops and caramel malts are present in the nose along with hints of piney hops.
T: The beer tastes strong, but not maltier and more in the way of sticky with notes of caramel. There are notes of piney hops and a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied and a bit sticky on the palate with a low amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink because it isn't nearly as bitter compared to other IPAs.
Serving type: cask
