On tap at the Pizza Plant on Main here in Buffalo, label of tap says Dry Irish Rye Stout but Iam quite sure this is the same.Poured from the tap a deep dark brown with a slight reddish hue to it a creamy-like mocha colored head atop, dark roast coffee and unsweetened chocolate mingle well with a sharp rye spicy note.Medium to full mouthfeel it goes down well, quite roasty with a hint of chocolate sweetness a big tart rye smack comes thru late to make for a very flavorful and different take on a dry stout. This is better than the only other rye stout I have had that would be Bells wich is good in its own right, well done.

Poured a deep brown hue with a one finger creamy off white head. There was very good retention and excellent sticky lacing.
The smell featured a nice coffee aroma with hints of chocolate malt. Soft rye spice as well.
The taste consisted of a dry coffee, with some lactose sweetness and a hint of smoke. Excellent rye malt spice as well.
The mouthfeel was full and creamy.
Overall a superior stout with an attractive ABV.
