Canned on May 20 2015 (so a bit 'old' when consumed). Interesting cross between hoppy and wheat. Very refreshing. Quite dry both initially and in its finish. Hops are very evident as a tasty crisp 'sensation' rather than as a bittering factor. Mouthfeel is thin (to be expected at sub 4% abv). I like this beer, but can't help but think of how a hoppy (and full-flavor) Coors light might taste (and that's a GOOD thing). Great (and certainly unique) addition to the array of session options that are popping up everywhere. HUB has succeeded by creating a low ABV brew with damn interesting flavor - session beer defined.

Slight cloudiness accentuates a pretty orange brew... foamy white head dies back quickly.. wheat and something I associate with orange marmalade essence in the aroma... Flavor has wheat with an odd tannic quality that is accentuated by a surprising dryness... light tangerine zest hoppiness... Pretty interesting, well made and I'm sure the brewers accomplished what they were shooting for, but it isn't for me.

Hopworks Nonstop Hef Hop Hopped Hefeweizen
serving type: pint glass, cans from Tamura's, Honolulu, HI (May 2015)
A: Hazy, between gold and amber
S: Fresh, piney hops followed with dank and herbs
T: Interesting yeast, I get rose hips from it. Maybe some almonds? Honestly, the hops just take over. Every flavor I look for is drowned out by hops. So much dish soap and so little flavor. Some fresh cut grass and orange in there also.
M: Almost acrid, dry and tongue coating

Pours from a tallboy can into the glass a dense, almost opaque orange/copper, topped by a couple of fingers of loose head that recede almost instantly to nothing. Visibly effervescent.
Smell is muted. Lightly vegetal, grassy, grapefruit. A touch dank. Some biscuit and wheat malt.
Taste is unbelievably rich, especially for 3.9% ABV. Nice interplay between wheat, spices, and a decent hop presence (lots of cut grass and very grapefruit-y). Balanced, not particularly bitter. Good body and noticeable carbonation. Really think this one pulls off the "session" style well--not just as a muted version of a bigger beer, but as something unique all on its own.

Huge off white head that lasts. Smell is bready malts with a good amount of orange rind and flowers. Taste is Pilzner like hops out front with slightly less than balanced amount of bready malt. Body is light to medium with good carbonation. Finishes with a building drying bitterness. Pretty darn bold for a session beer of only 3.9% abv.

Some wheaty flavors with a light, perfumey nose. Kind of watery, overall, with a bitter finish. Handsome hazy amber brew with plenty of suds. From the 16 oz can purchased at New Seasons Market in Portland.

This one is good. Each sip hits upfront with nice hop bitterness and finishes with that familiar wheat taste. Might leave some underwhelmed it is a session beer.
