They call this a "strong barrel aged Belgian." It's hugely malty but just moderately sweet. Quite hoppy with a long bitter aftertaste. Rather sharp. Nice dark roasted malt taste.
This has some serious alcohol burn as it slides down the gullet. Just a whiff of Bourbon. Some very dark fruity notes, but also very hoppy and lingeringly bitter. On tap at the HUB brewery restaurant in north Portland.
