I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at Cantine in Seattle. This is an English pale ale with rye.
Appearance: rich golden hue with a clear body and moderate effervescence. Head is a finger of frothy ivory foam that leaves a good lace on the glass.
Smell: mildly sweet with a nice maltiness and earthy character.
Taste: earthy with a bit of a biscuity malt and a good level of bitterness. Interesting and tasty, though the bitterness is a little rough.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a nice creaminess.
Overall: not bad at all. Bitterness is a little harsh but overall it's tasty and drinkable.
