Very dark brown with creamy, beige head. Solid retention and streak lacing. The aroma is faint, hints licorice and slightly herbal. The flavor follows suit, toasted malt, and some nutty bitterness. Dry finish, with some resinous hops bite in the aftertaste. A solid beer overall.
