Wave Train is our reinvention of the amber ale. Inspired by Vienna lagers, we ferment the beer at lower temperatures to get smooth, crisp flavors that make this beer enjoyable year round. Wave Train is a beautifully subtle and a favorite amongst a number of our brewers. 1% of the proceeds benefit watershed protection.

Tried this beer at Vancouver Brewery though it really good, nice light hop, malt & yeast flavor very drinkable year round.. Don't remember to much else about this beer as I tried 2 flights (10 beers) should have taken notes at the time, but everything I tried I liked, which is unusual. I can probably count on 1 hand the number of breweries where I've liked everything I've tried. Rated 12-12-2018

On tap at the Powell location yesterday.
Amber/caramel with an off-white head, this looks solid. The nose really does carry thru the doughy and grainy Vienna lager notes, a blend of bready and caramel notes with a firm hop bite. A little honey is present as well. On the palate, the beer opens bitter, earthy and with a mild caramel note. A blend of caramel, toasted dark wheat/molasses bread is present. While clean and drying on the finish, this beer is medium-light in body and moderately carboanted. Solid stuff.
