Canned 9/17/18, reviewed 10/14/18
Look- Murky brown-hued golden w/a 1 finger head and ample lacing
Aroma- Really unique- dank and pungent, a bit oniony; fragrant and sweet herbs; lemon and orange
Taste- similar to the nose, but the citrus flavors are more up front with the dank and pungent notes very noticeable, but in the background; there's also that sweet herbal, almost minty quality from the nose
Feel- medium bodied with moderate carbonation; finish is semi-dry with just a touch of bitterness
Overall- outstanding beer that delivers a unique flavor/aroma profile that's excellent and unlike anything I've had before

Can from New Seasons.
A hazy light orange with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing this looks good. The nose is a blend of orange juice notes and the classic wet hop notes of earth and soft stickiness. A touch of spice is present as well. The palate opens with quite a bit of OJ character, pulpy and juicy, with the fresh hop notes playing second fiddle. Mildly spicy, mildly earthy and even a little sharp from the carbonation, this is interesting. A mild honey note, along with a little sugar, is present. Drying, mildly bitter on the finish, a little watery, this beer is a little disjointed.
The premise of this beer bothers me. The flavors of fresh hops and those of hazy / New England IPAs are not two that I see as necessarily compatible. Maybe I'll get to drink a good wet hop New England IPA, but not today.
