Slightly hazy but very sudsy amber brew in the Brigand chalice. A sprightly mouthfeel and some slippery oat business on the tongue. Pleasant fruity aroma of tangerine and mango. Orange blossoms, even. Slightly sweet with a fruity, malty taste. Orange juice and a touch of lime peel.
The pillowy mouthful of carbonation works quite well with this aromatic brew. Just a hint of bitterness and minerals in the aftertaste. This is yet another quite tasty HUB concoction and a better than average "New England" IPA. None of the back-of-the-throat grunge that mars so many of these. From the 16 oz can purchased in Bellingham, Wash.
