This is brewed with "Southern Hemisphere hops." Pours a clear yellow with plenty of white foam in the delicate IPA glass. Tremendously aromatic, and even a little exotic with the New Zealand or Aus hops. Aroma is very fruity with orange, gardenia, and papaya. Mouthfeel is a little hot but for all the hops it's not unpleasantly acidic. Also, it's quite sweet.
Malt is clean and goes nicely with all the hops. Flavors of tangerine, papaya, and more papaya. Quite an experience. This is quite a nice surprise and another reason to look to the Antipodes for some great hop flavors. From the 22 oz bottle purchased in Bellingham, Wash.
