On tap at Bailey's Taproom in downtown Portland.
A: Pours a clear straw-gold in the glass, with a light film that is surprisingly thin for a Belgian tripel. I'm attributing this to the barrel-aging, and I'll give it a pass for now. No lacing.
S: Cloves, candi sugar. Couldn't get anything else.
T: Kind of like a watered-down tripel. Hints of banana, cloves, and a lot of candi sugar. Like a cheap tripel mixed with a faro. It just didn't taste very impressive. Nothing from the barrel comes through.
M: Light-bodied; sweet in flavor, malty finish. Moderate carbonation.
D: I'm not sure what they were trying to achieve here. It could pass for a good faro...

At Oregon Brewer's Dinner
A - Pours a hazy golden with a 1-fingered white head. Dissipates immediately and leaves no lacing.
S - Nectars and cloves. Really cannot get more taste out of this one.
T - Nectar, light sugars, and cloves.
M - Light bodied, malt dominated, sweet, and thin.
D - Not bad. Could be improved with more body and aged longer. Maybe could have fully attenuated.
