On tap at the killer beer fest at Bailey's.
The beer pours a solid gold color with good head retention and lacing. The beer has a light but intriging nose of honey with a touch of sour in the background, which is then dominated by a sour apple, cardboard aroma. Flavors on the palate replicate the nose pretty closely, with the cardboard flavor tending to dominate the flavor profile. The beer is at most moderately sweeet with a fairly light, smooth finish. Alcohol is not at all noticeable, and I would guess the abv. in this beer is pretty close to the 5.7% listed for the regular diablito.
This was a nice enough beer, though I thought it was over shadowed a bit by some of the other great beers at this festival.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
