On tap at Brouwers in Seattle, WA. From notes; 6/10/10.
Medium thin body with a crisp/slick mouth-feel with nice carbonation.
Strong fruity esters upfront with a sweet malt presence and undertones of citrus hops.
Finishes clean with a lingering floral hop note, lemon zest and a slight warming alcohol presence.
Great beer with solid flavors, nice body/mouth feel, glad I was finally able to try a HUB beer.(Seemingly my only one while on my trip to WA.)

On tap at HUB, 5/8/2010. 23 OG, 20 IBU, 11% ABV (!).
Cloudy yellow body no visible carbonation. One finger white head, slow dissipation, minimal lacing. Nose reeks of ripe bananas, clove, cardamon, floral hops. Taste reflects the nose with a wicked frickin' alcohol kick, quite hot, really subsumes the hop profile. Decent carbonated mouthfeel with a dry finish, those the alcohol makes it hard to pick up the nuances. Tasty in small doses, but don't try to consume more than one!
