Bright citrus aromas flood the senses with lemon, lime and a touch of sweet tangerine. Enriched with flavors of kaffir and key lime.

This beer pours a hazy golden color with a distinct citrus aroma that remines me of orange, lemon and lime zest. It also has a slight sweetness in the middle. Sours are not really my thing, but this one is decent. Rated 1-30-2023

i have been super high on these guys for awhile now. not because ever beer slaps, they dont all, but because they seem to be true to themselves, always willing to do something new, and i appreciate that. i have not had many of their sours, really only the recent cherry can comes to mind, but this is so much more than we have all come to expect from the generic kettle sour, assuming thats how they make this. its more rich looking, brassy toned and almost malty looking, with a short draft head but an oily intriguing nose of super zesty citrus from the namesake fruit, some light honey from the malt involved here too. good acidity in the taste and texture, perfect even, no trace of too much bacteria, the only lemon is from the weird and sexy asian citrus. i actually like the malt balance the more this warms, and even though it holds little head, it definitely feels lively to me. quality is enormous, and the showcase of this unique fruit is on point too, like you cannot mistake it for lemon or mandarin or ruby red or anything, so heady, although there is some orange in the mix. sick beer, perfect mix of fruit and sour and grain, i could drink five of these, and thats rare in the style. on the looking for these guys more and more, the beer is so fun right now!
