Ridiculous Hazy IPA is ridiculously smooth, aromatic, and delicious. Late additions of Citra, Idaho 7, El Dorado, and Sabro hops give intense flavors of tangerine, lychee, peach, and mango. Oat and wheat additions yield a soft mouthfeel and light sweetness.

well done daily drinking type hazy here, and i say that not because its basic but because its easy and available and without flaw, really a nice take on the style, a little lighter in alcohol than they have drifted into of late as well, which only adds to how much of this i am keen to consume. i like the sort of softer voice this comes with, not all quad dry hopped and terpene dosed and all that, its a little bit more reserved and in this day and age its kind of a welcome change of pace in this style space, dont let the name fool you, this beer is in no way ridiculous, its just very good. frosted wheaty deeper blonde color, high white head from the can all frothed up, not too murky or dense which i prefer. the nose really shows the sabro, with notes of mango and coconut and just a little grain sweetness to boost some of that fruitiness, i get a tangerine note too and some ripe cantaloupe, theoretically from the el dorado, but citra and idaho 7 are here too, and i think the hop aroma is both fresh and well layered, with little pops from each of these varietals working really nicely together, modern enough without just being juice, and i like the starchy, decidedly earthy grain core this has, very smartly constructed. the flavor comes with hints of sliced citrus, pineapple, and more melon, as fruit forward as the nose and with some movement from front to back with a late pop of coconut and sweet orange, lower but not absent bitterness, and some oat and wheat flavor, not just texture, well rounded in that regard. the hops present is very fresh, slightly oily in a way that really drives the flavor, yet super clean on the swallow and well resolved at the end, some white wine and thiol character in this too, but is very drinkable and not over the top all up. bubbly and creamy without being heavy at all, excellent easygoing hazy, very high quality and great use of the sabro specifically. ill go back to this one.

Remember the label and vaguely remember the beer even though I had it on tap. This is a good NEIPA with very little bitterness and a good citrus/tropical fruit profile with a solid malt backbone. Believe it was about 1yr ago when I had. FEB 2024.

A new hazy brew I got from Traders Joes. Pours as a hazy cloudy with orange golden color and a medium head. The first sip gives you a grape skin, pineapple rind, taste with pine needle thrown in as well. There is a nice bite to balance the fruit which I think is excellently balanced. The end finishes clean. I really like this one as its not too sweet or fruity and one I really recommend highly. Its a beer to show that hazys can be tanic and refreshing.
