We aged our Great Gourds of Fire in rye barrels for 6 months. The barrels have slightly softened the sourness of the beer, added oak and some fruity caramel notes, plus a soft tang of tequila.

This beer pours a dark amber color with a minimal head and an aroma of light pumpkin minus the spices. It has a rye spiciness and a small kick from the chiles. Not your typical pumpkin spice beer which I dislike. This has a nice smooth mouthfeel with a touch of sweetness. Rated 2-12-2024
